Overview

Kathmandu Pokhara tour is a culture, nature, and comfort combination tour. During five days, you visit the two most beloved Nepalese cities. Kathmandu reveals its rich history in temples and palaces as well as UNESCO sites. Pokhara offers calm lakes, mountain views, and a refreshing atmosphere. This is an accessible tour to all ages. You do not require trekking knowledge. The two cities have a short flight, which saves time. Every day there is a combination of tours and relaxation. When you are in Kathmandu, you will visit a city that is filled with temples. You go to Durbar Square, holy stupas, and active markets. There is an everyday scene: Morning prayers at Pashupatinath, craftsmen in ancient courtyards. There is a slower pace in Pokhara. The Annapurna range is reflected on the calm Phewa Lake. You get a boat ride, sunrise in Sarangkot, Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Cave. The lake shore is ideal when you want to walk and have a meal there. The Kathmandu Pokhara tour helps one enjoy diversity within a short time. One morning you are in front of some ancient palace and the other you are seeing a golden sun rise out of the mountains. Itinerary

Day 1:

Your Kathmandu Pokhara tour starts as our representative greets you at Tribhuvan International Airport. We will transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Following check-in and some rest you can experience a mild introduction into the city. Based on the time of arrival, you can walk through Thamel, with all the hustle and bustle, or see one of the heritage sites nearby. You can observe Boudhanath Stupa at a time of prayers, or watch Kathmandu Durbar Square. Your guide will meet you in the evening by conducting a traditional welcome dinner. Day 2:

Once you have a delicious breakfast, you are going to have a fantastic flight enjoying 25 minutes of flight to Pokhara. Be amazed by the awe-inspiring sceneries of terraced hills and snowcapped Himalayas during the journey. We will be transferring you to a hotel by serene Lake side on arrival. The first thing to do in Pokhara is a soft boat ride on the Phewa Lake to the old Tal Barahi Temple on the small island. Move on to the interesting Davis falls and cross over to visit the GupteshworMahadev cave where you can view the waterfall gushing in the cave. Then proceed to World Peace Pagoda which is scattered on a hilltop to have panoramic views of the valley and the Annapurna range. Later in the evening take a relaxing walk along the lively Lakeside markets, taking in the easygoing ambiance and then back to the hotel to get a good nights sleep. Day 3:

Begin the day early with a short drive to Sarangkot Hill, one of the highlights of the Kathmandu Pokhara tour package. See the first rays of the sun come upon the mountains of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri, one extraordinary scene you will never forget. Once you have taken the views, come back to your hotel to have breakfast. The remaining part of the day is free to utilize at a casual time. You can decide to go to the International Mountain Museum, stroll in local markets where you can get items as a symbol of Pokhara. You can use your adventurous side to engage in paragliding or zip-lining. Just finish off the day with a relaxing late evening walk around the lake or with an easy day relaxing in a cosy Cafe absorbing the relaxed nature of Pokhara. Day 4:

Enjoy a nice breakfast and after that you will have a short scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival you will be met by your guide who will take you to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is one of the most charming old towns with perfectly preserved ancient temples, palaces and the wonderful Nyatapola Temple. Then proceed to the holy Pashupatinath temple, the most sacred Hindu destination in Nepal. Witness the religious ceremonies in a respectful fashion along the banks of Bagmati river. On to the calm Boudhanath Stupa one of the biggest in the world, where pilgrims silently circumnavigate the huge white dome. In the evening, join a special farewell dinner accompanied by a cultural dance performance. It is a warm and joyful way to celebrate the wonderful memories of your Kathmandu Pokhara tour. Day 5:

On your final morning of the Kathmandu Pokhara tour, enjoy a relaxed breakfast and take some free time to reflect on your journey. Our staff will take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport, and will be helpful in assisting you on any last minute details.
